"Using the first track currently for the ichinensei [first year students]...We listened to it twice and there were quite a few students that could pick out all of the words. We will sing your song till the end of September. The students are already coming up to me in the halls singing the lyrics back. Teachers say you are talented. We all know that! Hope you are well!"

"It was my first lesson of English since I returned to work. I was really excited because one of my lesson plans today was to let the students listen to your song. I chose 'The Moon Through My Window'.
First, I showed them a flash card and asked, 'Do you know this word?' They answered, 'Desk!' I said, 'Great.' Then I showed them many words related the song and they pronounced them.
Then I said, 'Now, I will play my favorite song. This is a really nice song. If you hear the words you know, tell me!" Then, I played the song. While they heard the song, they loudly said 'Desk!' 'Notebook!' 'Ink!' They continued while hearing the rest of the song.
After the song, I asked them again. 'Tell me the words you heard.' They said the words really happily. I wrote the words they told me on the board.
I admired them. 'Wow! You guys heard the words very well and have good memorization. How nice!!' The boy who I heard was difficult from my substitute teacher said to himself [in Japanese], 'I am smart! I could pick up many words from the song.' I replied, 'Yes, you are!'
Then, I passed out the handout which has [blank spaces] and told them, 'We will listen to the song again. But don't write anything on the sheet. Just figure out what will be on there.'
I played the song again and sometimes told them what number we were on. The reason I did this was, I wanted nearly all the students to fill in the blanks correctly later. I will play the song several times in two weeks so they will be used to the song then they will like the song more. After some time, I am thinking to have them fill the blanks in enjoyably.
I am sure that it is their first time to listen to a song containing many words they have just learned. (I played it for the first year students.) They looked so excited and happy when listening to the song.

I really appreciate all the effort you made. It must have been really really really hard to make and taken a long time to complete. This is the most admirable CD I have ever listened for teaching English. Your passion for music and English education should be highly respected.

Now, I can't wait to play 'Opportunity' for them."
